I Hate Acne!!!

Did some research to battle this beast...

Before we begin tackling the question of what is bad acne , let's examine acne itself first.

To young teenagers going through puberty, acne is a nightmare. To adults who suffer with acne it is just frustrating.

Acne has other names that it is called as well. More like common terms, for all people. Some of these terms include; pimples, zits, oil pockets, and white heads. However, the more accurate term is Acne .

Acne is a form of skin disease. When hair follicles under the skin or pores in the skin get clogged these lesions form. Usually starting out pink in color, they get larger somewhat if left untreated. After a few days if the acne lesion has not been scratched or touched it will appear white on top, surrounded by red or pink mark. Some acne lesions are even sore. Most people break the acne lesion when it appears white on top; when this happens the toxins or white liquids; sometimes clear emerges. Some acne lesions even bleed for a few minutes.

Acne can often times be clean up or at least controlled by the use of over the counter creams, designed specifically for acne lesions. The definite cause of acne is unknown. Medical professionals are still working on this theory.

Some cases of acne are so severe, the over the counter medications do not work. The top thing to do when this occurs is to go to a physician or dermatologist. A medication that can be more helpful can usually be prescribed.

With the fact that acne is a skin disease, in severe cases, it can also leave scars .
Acne lesions often form on the face, forehead, and neck. However, acne can also form on the back, shoulders and concerning some cases the chest. The exact term acne vulgaris is the most common form of acne, although there are others.

Acne lesions left untreated, are considered gradual healing, as well as unsightly. When acne lesions form on the shoulders or back they are also considered more aching; than if they were on the neck or face.
Another thing to consider is that acne left untreated can lead to scarring especially on the face and back. Some forms of acne itch causing the party to scratch at them. This only makes the affected area aggravate.

Any form of acne should be treated in various way, to hustle the process of healing.
